Tariffs for USA Customers - Explained
Tariffs are now charged on most products imported into the USA (paintings and prints are currently exempt). The UK rate is 10% of the product purchase price.
To keep things simple, for US customers only I include the tariff in the purchase price of the book. For example: one small Saunders book is £85. At 10%, the tariff due is £8.50. So the total you pay at checkout is £93.50 plus shipping.
The good news is, I pay the tariff to US Customs for you in advance when I buy shipping from Royal Mail, using Postal Deliveries Duties Paid (PDDP), so there will be no further charges or action required on delivery.
I just wish Royal Mail would offer the same service for my EU, Canadian and Australian customers too!
