Will J Bailey is a painter and printmaker based in London, UK.

Will's series ‘Slices of Life’ documents and celebrates everyday lived experience - finding beauty in the striking and engaging characters and scenery that perpetually surround us but so often pass us by; capturing the customs and idiosyncrasies, small moments and fleeting stories that make us human.

In ‘Curious Icons & Sacred Animals’, Will’s playful portraits of golden age movie stars, dancers, animals and plants, recontextualise gothic iconography to question ideas of sacredness and secular reverence.

Will has been making handmade sketchbooks since 2018. With a focus on strong design and attention to detail, and using the very best materials, he has sold many hundreds of books to satisfied artist customers all over the world.

Will also runs a popular YouTube channel specialising in the technical side of art practice.
